Pilates is a comprehensive system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates that engages the mind to lengthen, strengthen & condition the body from the inside out. The Pilates repertoire emphasizes conscious control & quality of movement to awaken the deepest abdominal muscles, improve the posture, and promote a balanced body which then allows daily movement to become more mindful, fluid and invigorated.
PILATES IMPLEMENTED is an introductory workshop, developed to create awareness necessary to move, to breath, to play, the Pilates way. This workshop is open to professionals in the fitness industry who are interested in understanding the Pilates foundation and implementing it into their practice. This workshop is also for active, physical individuals keen on learning the basic Pilates exercises and bringing Pilates into their regular exercise routine.
