Stress & Vitality Workshop


In this modern technological age, we are encountering an increasing frequency of depression, anxiety, and stress related illnesses. The demands of this information barrage impacts our vitality and our already fading attention span. 

Chronic stress affects both our physical and emotional health and wellbeing. What we eat, how often we eat, where we eat and how we eat impacts our digestion. By nourishing our systems we can effectively respond to our stress levels. 

Our holistic approach combines nutritional knowledge integrated with the technology of Kundalini Yoga. This workshop will provide practical tools and knowledge that enable you to better manage stress and nurture your vitality, thus countering the impact of constant pressures and stressors on your physical, emotional and spiritual self.

Jo has been practicing yoga and meditation for the majority of her adult life. While living in Sri Lanka, Jo discovered the amazing benefits of Kundalini Yoga through her own experience, which led her to train in and teach Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This personal transformation inspired her to share this technology so others could benefit. Since 2006, Jo has taught classes, workshops and retreats in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, England and the US. She currently lives and works as a learning specialist in Malaysia at the International School of Kuala Lumpur, where she also leads Mindfulness practices in Middle School and teaches yoga to students. She is also a qualified Radiant Child yoga teacher. Through her teachings, Jo’s hope is for all people to live to their greatest potential to lead a fulfilling healthy, happy and connected life. 

Liesbet is a natural nutrition specialist and exercise enthusiast. She has taught PE, Health and Social Education in Turkey, Thailand, Switzerland and Malaysia for the last 26 years. Along the way she has continued to explore and grow in this focus area gaining both her counselling and nutrition degrees. With the demands we face on a daily basis, the quality of our food sources questionable and the homeostasis of our bodies constantly changing it is a challenge to nurture ourselves in a way that leaves us feeling energised and happy. How we eat, what we eat and when we eat are all very important questions towards maintaining our health. Liesbet hopes to share what she has learned over the years to help individuals find the balance, energy and vitality that a healthy body and mind can give us.
