Yarn Mandala Workshop

This is an ancient handcraft from indigenous tribes of America; the Huichol (Mexico) and several tribes from the amazon. They were called “OJOS DE DIOS” which means “the eye of god”. Traditionally used as protection amulets and power symbols.

You will properly learn how to weave your own 8 sided mandala. This workshop will give you plenty of know-how to continue to make your own mandalas at home.

Spiritual growth and creativity development through direct contact with colors, shapes and infinite possibilities that unravel creating a Mandala.

We will talk about the meanings of mandalas, our relation with the sacred geometry and our relationship with nature, as well as the benefits of involving on this creative process.

Facilitator

Adriana Olarte is a Colombian artist and Psychologist. she has been weaving mandalas since 2011, her pieces stand out for their harmonious color combinations and beautiful patterns.
